pH Electrode Pepsin Solution

The pH electrode is the main actor in pH measurement. It requires special care and attention. The removal of contamination is required before the electrode can be re-calibrated and used for another measurement.

Pepsin Cleaning Solution helps maintain electrode performance and should be utilized after measurements and prior to recalibration. Treatment time is about 1 hour.

Rinsing with deionized water is not sufficient when protein contamination (and other inorganic components) is present; Pepsin is recommended in this case.
